For heavy general and odd shaped flatbed freight (machinery, building materials, steel coil and plate, plastic and steel pipe, etc.), G&B Transportation assigns tandem trailers for efficient and timely transport.  Our tandem trailers are always well maintained and road-ready to get your freight from shipper to receiver at an agreed upon appointment time.

Within our trucking fleet, our drivers and owner operators are provided with either 48-foot or 53-foot trailers, most of them equipped with Roll-Tite kits. Roll-Tite kits are an efficient tarp system for fast and easy covering over freight that may need protection from the weather or road elements.

Customers of G&B Transportation often transport freight that needs to be protected – our Roll-Tite tarping system quickly and easily “rolls out” to safeguard an entire shipment. While providing complete protection, the tarp system never touches the cargo load.

Our tandem trailers are designed to secure practically any type of freight – from steel plate and coils, to heavy equipment. As it is, we can load up to 46,000 lbs. of cargo material, and for transport in Ontario and New York State, we carry annual over-dimensional permits.

In addition to highly trained drivers, G&B support staff provide customers with centralized operations to ensure direct contact with in-transit drivers. It means that our customers are receiving exceptional service from the moment a shipment is picked up until delivery.

G&B drivers are highly competent – most with over five years of flatbed hauling experience, our drivers undergo continuous training throughout the year. They understand and follow all Canadian and American regulations, without taking unnecessary operational shortcuts.
